2 Brothers on the 4th Floor
2 Brothers on the 4th Floor is one of the Netherlands’ most successful and enduring dance acts. Founded by brothers Bobby Boer and Martin Boer, the project began in the early ’90s in a modest bedroom studio on the fourth floor of an apartment building in Utrecht’s Zuilen district. What started as a passion project quickly evolved into an international phenomenon, selling millions of records and producing global dance hits that defined a generation.

Breakthrough & International Success
The break through came in 1990 with Can’t Help Myself (featuring Da Smooth Baron MC), followed by Turn Da Music Up (featuring Da Smooth Baron MC, Gale Robinson & Peggy ‘The Dutchess’). But it was in 1993 that the act truly cemented its place in dance history with Never Alone, featuring the powerful vocals of Desray and the unmistakable rap of D-Rock.
That collaboration sparked a golden era, delivering a string of eurodance classics including Dreams, Let Me Be Free, Fly (Through the Starry Night), Come Take My Hand, Fairytales, and I’m Thinkin’ of U. These tracks became defining anthems of the ’90s - timeless records that continue to ignite dance floors and festival crowds around the world.
Rather than fading after their peak, the group continued to evolve, experimenting with new sounds and releasing music into the early 2000s. Their catalogue has stood the test of time, securing their status as a headline act at major ’90s festivals, club shows, and large-scale events both in the Netherlands and internationally.

Today, 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor is opening an exciting new chapter. With Masta & Li-Ann as the new faces of the act, the live show gains fresh energy, while preserving the familiar sound, recognizable atmosphere, and magic of the original hits. This relaunch is dedicated to keeping their rich musical legacy alive and passing it on to new generations.
Masta has been a familiar face in the live performances of 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor for over 16 years, serving as an important link between the act’s past and future. Li-Ann is known from the girl group Raffish and toured worldwide as part of a successful eurodance act. With her international stage experience, strong presence, and distinctive voice, she adds a powerful new dimension to the live show. In addition, Li-Ann is currently active as a presenter for RTL4.
