In 2000, Brooklyn Bounce made a major comeback with Bass, Beats & Melody, which reached the top 3 in the charts. The track’s success led to their fourth studio album, Restart — a career highlight for Bohn. His work earned nominations for Germany’s top music accolades, including the VIVA TV Comet Award and twice making the shortlist for the prestigious ECHO Awards.

Dennis Bohn grew up in a musical family and began drumming at the age of five. He started his DJ career spinning rock and metal in Hamburg clubs before transitioning to house and techno. This journey gave birth to his alter ego DJ Bonebreaker — the signature name behind the hard-hitting, high-octane sound that defines Brooklyn Bounce.
Founding Mental Madness Records and Global Success
In 2002, Bohn launched his own label, Mental Madness Records, achieving international success with acts like Special D., Discotronic, and Andrew Spencer. As a DJ, Bohn has performed in top party destinations worldwide, spinning everything from trance and hardstyle to electro and house — all while staying true to the unmistakable Brooklyn Bounce style.
Solo Projects and Collaborations
Outside of Brooklyn Bounce, Bohn released solo tracks such as Druck! and Husten!, and under his own name, he dropped Rocky Beach Theme via KONTOR Records.
