Eva Simons is a singer, songwriter and producer who has been performing and composing music most of her life. Since the demo of her debut single ‘Silly Boy’ leaked on YouTube and gained worldwide attention, that led to a record deal with EMI and her first major chart hit around Europe, Eva’s career has reached stratospheric heights.
In 2010, she experienced her global breakthrough when she released the hit single 'Take Over Control' together with Grammy award winning DJ and producer Afrojack. 'Take Over Control', which was co-written by Eva, was an enormous success, reaching platinum status in Australia and in the United States and high chart positions in dozens of countries.
On the back of this success, she was signed to the legendary label Interscope Records, where she released several singles and collaborated with major artists that include Zedd, LMFAO and Will.I.Am.
Her next major success came in 2012 when she featured on the Will.I.Am single 'This Is Love'. The single became a worldwide hit, reaching the number 1 spot in multiple countries including the UK, and Top 10 chart positions in many other countries. Later that year she received a BMI Songwriting award for 'Take Over Control'.
In 2015, Eva once again gained international chart success with her hit single 'Policeman', soon earning double Platinum status in her home country The Neterlands, and hitting the charts throughout the world. This single was quickly followed up by yet another success called 'Bludfire' featuring Sidney Samson, which hit golden status, high rotation around the globe and worldwide praise with number 1 positions in several countries.
Collaborating again with Sidney Samson, Eva released ‘Escape From Love’ in the summer of 2016, hailed as one of the anthems of the summer months, the track, released on leading dance imprint Spinnin’ Records, received high rotation across Dutch radio stations as well as remaining in the iTunes Top 10 for several weeks. 'Heartbeat' alongside the highly revered French sculptor Richard Orlinski, came next, hitting the Top 5 spot section in various Shazam charts around the world and adding another huge track to her impressive 2016 hit list.
Adding to her collaboration pedigree, Eva has gone on to co-write and co-produce alongside the likes of Major Lazer, Yellow Claw, Boaz van de Beats and Diplo, with several exciting release plans scheduled for 2017 to further showcase her wealth of talent.
Throughout her career, Eva has toured the globe, headlining prominent festivals and clubs throughout the world. She loves performing live, as that gives her the opportunity to communicate directly with her fans. Anybody who has ever seen her perform live can attest to the fact that she is an unbelievable performer, combining a great voice with an exciting stage performance and an exuberant personality that makes any crowd simply love her.
As if all this is not enough, Eva has taken her career to new heights during 2016 as a member of the jury on the Dutch version of the talent show ‘Idols’, where she performed her huge track ‘Escape From Love’ before the winner was announced on the popular show.
Continuing to evolve and push boundaries in her career, 2017 will see Eva return to ‘Idols’ as a jury member. She also released the singles 'Gyaya' and 'Avalon' that year. In 2018 she had a chart hit in The Netherlands with 'The One'. A year later she did release 'Like That' via Spinnin' Records, which she did perform for the very first time ever during the popular TV show RTL Late Night.
In 2020 Eva released her single 'Blessing', which was written by Eva together with Brainpower. Boaz van de Beats took care of the production of the track.
